Mango bars from Munlai, Mysteries of the Mountains specially made for neofarmers Bangladesh
We’re all familiar with mango bars, or aamshotto, a traditional preservative of mangoes being passed down to us from generations past. We remember the fond memories of our grandmothers tending to the mangoes and preserving them, eagerly waiting for their grandchildren to come for a visit during the vacations. These preservatives were more than just treat for the taste buds, rather they packed a surprising burst of emotions and love being passed down through these simple bars full of complex flavors of green mangoes and spices.
Carefully handplucked each morning from the family orchards of the Bawm people of Munlai para at Bandarban, the green Rangooi mangoes are carried on their bamboo weaved baskets all the way to the production home, where the ladies gather together and process them, while sharing stories with each other and having a jolly good time through the day. We believe these happy emotions are passed down to our mango bars, and we wish to deliver these happiness from the hill tracts all the way into your homes.
Infused with a dash of eternal sunshine and oxygen rich air of the lush green hill tracts, these mango bars are obtained in a completely natural process without a single drop of chemical preservatives in them.
